Make sure the e-shop gives you the necessary info, like telephone numbers, contact persons, and so on, so you feel confident you’re dealing with a safe company. Check delivery prices and security. Do not give out your credit card number if the shopping basket is not residing on a secure server. ...is a drawing program that supports all Wacoms pressure-sensitive pens. It records everything you do while creating a piece of art. Then you can play your artwork back and watch as it is recreated from start to finish. The ActiveX control allows you to embed the result on your web page.

• Photo-Brush New
...is an image processing program, that offers a wide range of pressure-sensitiv photo retouching tools like red-eye-removal or skin colour correction. The brushes and nozzles allow precise pressure-sensitive painting with customized opacity and/or stroke widths.

• Colorsync from Imation is a color management module (CMM) software package for the Mac. Visit the company’s Web site.
• Colorific from Sonnetech) measures the colors that your monitor displays. This information is used by your computer's operating system to give you more accurate color. Colorific works with applications such as Photoshop, PageMaker, and CorelDRAW and runs on Windows and Mac operating systems. Visit the company's Web site.
• EzColor from Monaco is an entry-level ICC profiling tool for both PC and Mac. A demo is available. Visit the company’s Web site.


Tutorials

Adobe.com has lots of tutorials for Photoshop 6, Elements, Illustrator and so on. Always look at the company’s web page for information and tutorials for their software. The following tutorials can be found at their respective Web sites:

• Apple Creative, Digital Imaging Some good stories and a couple of tutorials on digital imaging on can be found on Apple's Web site. Good stories to be found in the Web and Print sections also.
• Desktoppublishing.com links to tutorials, reviews, and other resources.
• Eclipse e-zine has some good tutorials for Photoshop (like Fun with Sepia) and other great stuff.
• GraphixLand This has some tutorials for CorelDRAW, Photoshop (these are basics but still good), and Paint Shop Pro, as well as for CSS, HTML, Flash and so on.
• Saturation in Photoshop 6  (video tutorial) by Deke McClelland. More tutorials on Digital Media Designer’s Web site, like layers and effects.
• Thinkdan Dan has some good Photoshop, Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand tutorials.
